We are proud to be part of this historical building renovation project taking place in New Britain. The final layout will house 154 apartments, personal storage and common areas for residents. For us, the most challenging items consist of 600 feet of underslab plumbing with low ceilings, installing a massive matt footing and a 14 foot high retaining wall along with two other substantial walls; as well as handling & disposal contaminated materials. This project boasts an elaborate utility upgrade of storm, sewer, water and electric services with three transformers and a generator. In addition to the large underground, we are installing several thousand square feet of concrete sidewalk and curbing and installing a bituminous parking lot with signage, bollards and pavement markings.
