Colchester Town Green Improvements

Location: Colchester, CT

Designer: Barton & Loguidice 

This project was challenging due to the sensitive nature of the Colchester Historic District Commission’s requirements in maintaining the appeal and topography allowed by their charter. The other hurdle was COVID-19 and the material acquisition timeline that held up the lighting installation.  We had to navigate between mature trees while protecting their root system and canopies. In the end it looked as if the walkway, lights and benches had been there all this time.
