Located on New Haven’s bucolic Hillhouse Avenue among other 19 th century Yale mansions, we are
working to bring this historic property up to current codes to improve the infrastructure and make it
more accessible – all while making sure New Haven’s oldest Sycamore tree stays safe during the
process.
Sitework and site concrete work includes:
- Installing underground storm water detention
- Excavation for staircases and installing piers for an accessible ramp.
- Placing in a ductile iron fire sprinkler pipe for fire suppression.
- And about that tree… We are working with an Arborist to manage its care and excavation by
air spading.
