When Arhaus Furniture took over a vacant corner at the West Farms Mall, we were at–the-ready to overcome the challenges presented by its limited site. Located in a tight corner that directly abuts a main entrance, there was limited space for equipment and trades to be on the site at the same time – we had to make the most of our time when our portion of the work was to be done.

This had us mobilizing early to perform site demolition and installing the foundation that made up the storefront expansion. Once that was complete, we continued with interior trenching of plumbing and poured the slab-on-grade infills as well as the expansion slab. With that in place we got out of the way for other trades and came back to complete the interior foundation and finalize the entrance and parking. This included the installation of new granite curbing at the storefront and the creation of a parking island out of concrete curbing. Final touches included concrete sidewalks, bituminous patching, signs & bollards / posts, as well as pavement markings.

Successfully completed in the fall of 2023, the new store and its entryway serve as an inviting welcome to their furniture showroom and a modern beacon for the mall.
