Location: New Britain, CT

Construction Manager: Keith Construction

As New Britain natives, we were proud to support the transformation of a 120-year-old factory into a modern residential development featuring 154 apartments, shared amenities, and personal storage. Our scope included extensive underground work—over 600 feet of underslab plumbing in low-clearance conditions, a massive mat footing, and a 14-foot retaining wall alongside two additional structural walls. The project also involved handling and disposing of contaminated materials, adding further complexity.

We upgraded storm, sewer, water, and electrical services across the site, including installation of three transformers and a generator. Above ground, our team installed thousands of square feet of concrete sidewalk, curbing, and a bituminous parking lot complete with signage, bollards, and pavement markings. Navigating real-time design changes and subsurface challenges, we kept the project on schedule and helped bring new life to this historic structure.
