Whiting Street Improvements

Location: Plainville, CT

Colossale Siteworks partnered with the Town of Plainville to deliver full-depth roadway reconstruction and drainage upgrades along over half a mile of Whiting Street. The project included the complete removal of historic trolley tracks—the last known stretch in the area—followed by full mill and pave, ADA-compliant sidewalk improvements, updated driveway aprons, and minor traffic signal modifications.

The work improved safety, accessibility, and stormwater performance in a key transportation corridor, enhancing long-term serviceability while preserving the historic context of the neighborhood.
