For Mile Creek Elementary School in Old Lyme, we are working on site infrastructure improvements that will allow the campus to meet current codes while preparing it for long-term performance. The project includes installation of a new fire service line, upgraded drainage systems, improved sewer connections, and construction of a drainage settling pond with a concrete weir. Together, these enhancements modernize the school’s underground infrastructure and improve overall stormwater management and site resiliency.
Recognizing the importance of maintaining a safe and uninterrupted learning environment, construction is carefully phased around the school calendar. Major site activity is scheduled during summer recess to minimize disruption to students, faculty, and families.
