Colossale Siteworks is currently at work in New Britain, Connecticut, supporting the City’s West Main Street Complete Streets Improvements from Vine Street to Lincoln Street.
The project is designed to create a safer, more accessible corridor for pedestrians, motorists, businesses, and residents. We are responsible for the extensive heavy civil and sitework needed to support that transformation, including stormwater and utility infrastructure, roadway excavation and grading, concrete sidewalks, ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps, curbing, and new pedestrian bump-outs.
Working within an active urban corridor, we are carefully coordinating construction and traffic control to maintain access for local businesses, residents, pedestrians, and vehicles as work progresses.
The project brings together many of our core capabilities from deep utility and drainage work to roadway reconstruction and pedestrian infrastructure. All within a complex, highly active environment.
Once complete, the improvements will help create a safer, more functional and better-connected West Main Street for the New Britain community.
